I was born and raised in Boston but headed down to Florida after high school
to attend the University of Tampa where I studied Advertising and Graphic Design. I immediately fell in love with Photoshop and the idea of coming up with compelling ways to promote a product.

After graduating, I found my way to San Diego, where I spent 8 years
enjoying all the tacos, palm trees, and endless sunny blue skies one can
only dream of - it was heaven!

In 2020 my husband got an exciting job offer in Spain, so we packed our bags and spent two years living abroad. We explored Europe, soaked in the culture, attempted to learn Spanish (learning a language as an adult is HARD),
and enjoyed all the yummy tapas imaginable.

Now, we’re back in Boston, where we welcomed our little baby boy Leo.
He has completely stolen our hearts and has brought our family so much joy!
Our next move will be a permanent one — back to sunny San Diego,
where we first met.

MY values

MY values

During the beginning of the pandemic (prior to our move abroad),
I was let go from what I once considered my dream job. I was working
as a graphic designer for a small design studio creating custom artwork
for the hospitality industry for over 7 years.

It was amazing, until it wasn't.

I quickly realized I was elated to have been laid off. I had been feeling stuck for longer than I'd like to admit, and I could tell it was impacting my creativity. Sadly, I had no longer felt the love for design like I once did years prior.

That’s when I decided to finally make the leap to pursue my passion
and start my own design business — Briana Rae Designs.

Since then, I have discovered my creative possibilities are endless.
I wake up excited and eager to work, and feel so grateful to be able
to connect with other like-minded passionate entrepreneurs who are boldly living life on their own terms.
